Do You Need To Train?

As either an Employer or Employee, you have a responsibility to have the best
possible training. Our courses are accredited and give a full nationally recognised qualification.
Each course is designed to comply with the following needs:

  1. To produce a safe and efficient operator.
  2. To install safe habits and a systematic approach.
  3. To maximise the long term safety benefits by explaining why each rule exists.
  4. To comply with ACOP, LOLER, PUWER and all other statutory regulations.
  5. To provide documentation proving each qualification gained.
Course duration ranges from 1 day (for refresher courses) to 7 days, with the average being 5 for a typical candidate.

Each course includes theoretical and practical training and testing, basic maintenance checks and basic refuelling information for all types of truck.

Each candidate receives written safety information for future reference. Videos, diagrams and models are used on all courses to maximise trainee interest. All candidates are encouraged to participate in question and answer sessions to ensure full understanding of tuition given.

Any candidate with reading or writing problems has the option of private verbal theoretical testing as a matter of course.

We have a strict anti prejudice doctrine and all instructors are naturally inclined to promote a team spirit among candidates on each course.

Our reputation rests on our performance and any candidate who is struggling is automatically given extra attention and tuition. We would never pass a candidate who should fail nor fail a candidate who should pass. Our instructors are patient and friendly giving us a high pass rate.
